Our self catering holiday cottages are ideally situated to provide a base to visit the Highland and Grampian Regions, Inverness the Historic Highland Capital 40 minutes by car, or by making a day of it visit the Isle of Skye, John O’Groats, Strathspey, Royal Speyside, and Loch Ness.

There are 5 miles of sandy beach between Burghead and Findhorn to enjoy walks, picnics, or if you’re feeling energetic for running across and nice woods to go through. We also have half a dozen golf courses in Moray within half an hours drive from here, choose from Hopeman, Lossiemouth, Speybay, Elgin, Kinloss, Forres, or Rothes.

There are scheduled flights to Inverness and Aberdeen airports. Car hire is available at both airports and locally. Inter-City trains run from Inverness and Aberdeen stopping at Elgin with a regular bus service to Burghead

In Elgin 9 miles from the, holiday cottages,  there is an excellent selection of restaurants and shops, including Asda and Tesco 24 hour Superstores. Places to visit, the Cashmere Visitor Centre, Elgin Cathedral, the Biblical Gardens, and the Moray Leisure Centre with gym, swimming pool, ice skating rink, Jacuzzi and sauna.

We are a family run business, and live next door to the, self catering cottages, so there is always someone on hand to help with any problems, give advice or just have a chat to about Sea Angling, Whisky Trail, Speyside Way, golf courses, castles, Moray Firth Dolphin Watch, and places of interest in Elgin, holiday cottages moray, Forres, Duffus, Lossiemouth, and Nairn. We built the villas in 1995 after we came out of the fishing industry, but we have a long association with the tourist industry, from taking out sea-anglers and divers to providing bed & breakfast.

The, holiday cottages,  were converted from our old fishing store, which was completely rebuilt from scratch except for one wall that had arched windows in it, which we wanted to keep.
